How much does Premier Sports cost for residential customers?

SKY Customers
Via the Sky platform the cost is £9.99 per month for new customers. You will get access to Premier Sports 1 and Premier Sports 2. 
New customers can try Premier Sports for a month free. See terms and conditions. 
You will continue to subscribe at your monthly price on a rolling basis unless you decide to cancel by providing at least 5 working days notice for card payments or 15 working days for direct debit, before your next payment date.  
A great value Season ticket option is available priced at £99 saving you £21 annually. 
You don't have to be a Sky HD customer to get Premier HD. You only need to have a Sky HD box. 
The easiest and quickest way to subscribe is on our secure website where you can pay by credit card or set up a direct debit.
You can also call 0871 663 9000 and speak with an operator to order Premier Sports. Multi-room subscriptions can only be setup over the phone. 
Calls will cost 13 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge.

Virgin Customers
Premier Sports is currently £9.99 for Virgin Media customers. 

Premier Player Customers
The Premier Player costs from £9.99 per month on a rolling contract and you will get access to Premier Sports 1 and Premier Sports 2. 
Please note if  you are a Premier Sports Sky platform customer you can access the player for free www.premierplayer.tv.
 

Accessing Premier Sports in Northern Ireland

Customers in Northern Ireland can get access to Premier Sports 1, Premier Sports 2 and Eir Sport 1 by subscribing to Premier Sports for £9.99 per month via Sky or the Premier Player online.

Where can I view Premier Sports?

The channel is currently only available in the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland. 
On Sky, We broadcast Premier 1 on 412 in HD & Premier 2 as channel 435
On Virgin, Premier 1 is available on channel 551 & Premier 2 552
We also offer you both channels online through the Premier Player
 

How much does Premier Sports cost for commercial customers?

We have a great selection of sports for your bar at very competetive rates including GAA and European Football qualifiers.

 

Do I need to subscribe to other SKY channels to view your channel?

You do not need to subscribe to any SKY TV package or channels to receive Premier Sports, however the channel will only work with a SKY decoder box and a dish. We can provide a viewing card just for our channel if you use your SKY box for free-to-air purposes only. Please note other non SKY systems do not work with our channel and you will not be able to record using SKY+ unless you have a SKY Entertainment (Basic) subscription.

 

Can I get Premier Sports in another room?

Multi-room is only available when ordering by phone.
The cost is £1 per month per box. 

 

What is the minimum length of contract?

For monthly subscribers through SKY the minimum subscription period is 1 month.

You will continue to subscribe at your monthly price on a rolling basis unless you decide to cancel by providing at least 5 working days’ notice for card payments or 15 working days for direct debit, before your next payment date.

For annual subscribers please note the minimum term is for 12 months and the subscription is automatically renewed unless cancellation by phone is received at least 15 working days before the date of renewal.

Virgin Media and Premier Player customers are on auto renewing 1 month contracts. Please contact them directly if you wish to cancel.

 

Where can I get information on Premier Sports fixtures and content?

This website hosts all forthcoming events on a timeline schedule which normally shows 2 weeks in advance or you can look under a particular sport on the top tabs. The Sky electronic programme guide can be accessed using your remote control and is also available online.

Alternatively click on your sport to access all live and 1st aired content. For events more than 2 weeks away and breaking channel development, please check out our Facebook and Twitter social media pages.

 

Can I watch Premier Sports online?

Premier Sports offee the Premier Player for those without SKY or Virgin in their homes the chance to view their favourite sports.
Now you can see 24/7 coverage of the Premier Sports channel including all our PRO14, NHL and NASCAR action.
This includes a 7 day Catch-Up service allowing you to watch any live or delayed event from the previous week.
The service is available in HD and is viewable on all major devices from iOS (Apple) to Android and PC’s.
If you are a current Premier Sports SKY subscriber then this service is available free as part of your current TV subscription.

What times are the telephone lines open?

Opening hours are 9.30am-6pm Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays we are closed unless a major event is taking place.  
You can subscribe online at anytime.
Calls will cost 13 pence per minute plus your telephone company's access charge.

My SKY box is not connected to the phone line. Does this matter?

This is no problem as we activate the signal by sending a message through your dish.

 

Why are some programs blocked in the UK?

Certain programs we licence are only available to view on Premier Sports (Eir Sports 1) in the Republic of Ireland and or Northern Ireland. 
These are mainly Champions League and Europa League matches. 
This means that in the UK viewers on Virgin and SKY will recieve the message "Program Unavailable", "Coverage resumes at x time).
These blocks do not affect any Premier Sports live programming. 

How do I stop some SKY+ recordings cutting out before the end of games?

Only Sky are able to control record lengths of programs when the sport is live. We are working with SKY to find a fix but currently we ask you do one of the following to avoid missing the end of live games you record.
Record the program that follows to make sure you don’t miss the end.
Add the max 10 minutes to the record length of every program in Sky+ settings (this is not going to guarantee you will see the end but will help)
Record the repeat which normally airs within 12 hours as this always fits into the time slot.
Complete a manual record by following the actions below:

Rather than record a specific programme, you can set the Planner to record a particular channel for a defined period. This can be useful for recording parts of very long broadcasts or when it's likely that a broadcast will overrun for a long period. Here's how to add a manual record to the Planner:

1. Press services on your Sky remote to highlight the Options menu.
2. Press select and you'll see the Sky+ Setup menu highlighted.
3. Press the left/right arrows to highlight Man Rec.
4. Press select to highlight the Channel Number and Channel Name items.
5. Type in the desired channel number, or press the left/right arrow buttons to cycle through the available channels.
6. Press the down arrow button to highlight Day.
7. Press the left/right arrow buttons to select the day of recording. The default option is Today. You may select to record up to six days in advance.
8. Press the down arrow button to highlight Start Time.
9. Press the number buttons to enter the start time.
10. Press the left/right arrow buttons to switch between AM and PM.
11. Press the down arrow button to highlight End Time.
12. Press the number buttons to enter the end time.
13. Press the left/right arrow buttons to switch between AM and PM.
14. Press the down arrow button to highlight Frequency.
15. Press the left/right arrow buttons to select the frequency of the recording. The default option is Once, which is for one-off recordings.
16. Press the yellow button to add the manual recording to the Planner.

When looking at the manual recording in the Planner, you will see the recording titled with the date and time. When trying to watch a manual recording in the Planner, you will be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN. This applies to all manual recordings, whatever their content.


 

Do you have a Season Ticket offer?

A 12 month season ticket is available for £99 for new customers only giving you both channel for 12 months and saving you nearly £20 per year. This offer is only available using a credit/debit card and must be paid upfront. Please note that all subscriptions are on a recurring basis unless you tell us at least 15 working days before your next payment date you wish to cancel. The annual option is only available to SKY platform customers.

Terms and Conditions Promo Code Offers

As this time, Premier Sports is currently offering new customer only a first month free offer via Sky or Premier Sports Player. 

After the initial discount period your subscription will revert to full price on a recurring basis which is £9.99 per month. 

You can cancel at anytime but you should give us at least 5 working days of notice before next payment date for card payments or 15 working days for direct debit customers to avoid further payments unless otherwise stated in the promotion.

We regret that we are unable to apply offers for our channel via Virgin Media. Virgin Media customers should contact their operator for pricing

How do I cancel Premier Sports?

If you wish to cancel Premier Sports on the Sky platform then please call our local rate number on 0333 003 3773 and notify the operator. 

You can also email support@premiersports.com with your details to give notice to cancel. 

Please give us at least 5 working days notice to cancel if you pay by credit/debit card and 15 working days notice if you pay by direct debit or are an annual customer.

Do you have a Premier Player App

We have an iOS and Android app available available for the Premier Player.

We would request you create your account and sign in details on the Player website first before downloading the App from the Apple and Google play store.
